Green-Phos
The International Joint Laboratory for Green Phosphate Research, named Green-Phos, is a joint collaboration between Côte Azur University, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and OCP Group.
This international joint laboratory headed by Dr. Rachid Benhida aims to jointly :
- Carry out research projects of common interest.
- Investigate new ways and technologies for the extraction of rare earth elements from phosphoric acid and phosphogypsum.
- Implement medicinal chemistry projects in close collaboration with the UM6P experimental farm.
Joint Research Units (UM6P-UM5R-UCA)
Three renowned Moroccan universities have joined forces to advance their respective efforts in the field of scientific cooperation. This agreement signed in December 2018 between the universities of Cadi Ayyad in Marrakech, Mohammed V in Rabat and Mohammed IV Polytechnique in Benguerir aims to strengthen scientific collaboration through the establishment of joint research laboratories.
This collaboration is led by Prof. Khalid Bougrin (Director of the Green Chemistry Laboratory, at the Faculty of Sciences Rabat) and Mohammed Lahcini, full professor at Cadi Ayyad University, in addition to Dr. Rachid Benhida, head of CBS department.
This collaboration aims to jointly apply to national and international calls for projects, in addition to promoting student exchanges.
The objectives of this collaboration are:
- The implementation of research programs, training actions and scientific expertise.
- The exchange of scientific and technical information and documentation.
- The organization of seminars, colloquiums, congresses and conferences.
- The scientific production leading to joint publications and patents.
- The contribution to other promotion actions.
